The bee project in El Silencio Natural Reserve has been running since November 2022 and is a joint project of Fundacion Biodiversa Colombia and Yiehitson Correa, an expert in bee management. The primary aim of the project is to set up and manage multiple apiaries and stingless bee stations within the reserve for the production of honey, beeswax and propolis.
